The 'American Idiot' musical cast album will be released April 20th to coincide with opening night of the musical. The cast album will feature Green Day alongside the cast. It includes songs from American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown, along with some b-sides. Check out the full tracklist on Amazon.

The release also includes the new song "When It's Time" recorded by the band and sung by Billie Joe. Here's a preview of the song

We've uploaded an mp3 of the preview for those of you that wish to download it.

We previously had a live version (not professionally recorded) of Billie playing the song at a concert last year.

You can preview the entire album on the Amazon MP3 page and well as pre-order the CD version. Both will be out on April 20th.
