"SXSW will screen the world premieres of two films about Billie Joe Armstrong and Green Day. [Brodway Idiot goes] behind the curtain with Green Day lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, as he ventures onto Broadway with "American Idiot." [!Cuatro! is] a peek inside the world of Green Day as they conceptualize and record the trilogy of "Uno!," "Dos!" and "Trè!""
"¡Cuatro" premiered just last Saturday night at the X-Games in Aspen, Colorado. We haven't heard much about the full-length film since the premiere.
We also announced yesterday that a new documentary, "Broadway Idiot," will also get some spotlight at SXSW as it will premiere at the festival. "Broadway Idiot" is a documentary about Billie Joe's journey and accounts about the American Idiot Musical.
We are still waiting to hear some official news about a physical release of "¡Cuatro!." Hopefully it will be before SXSW, but it appears that is very unlikely.
