Green Day played Live 105's "Not So Silent Night" last night in Oakland, CA. Setlist and photos can be found in the tour section.

During the show Billie Joe talked about the Ghost Ship warehouse fire that killed 36 people in Oakland recently. Here's a recap from the Mercury News. Watch the statement below where he dedicated "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" to them.

The set was a little short at only 14 songs, but from the reviews seems like it was a really great show. A fan asked if they could play J.A.R. and they brought him on stage to play the guitar (and he nailed it),

In the Summer of 1998, between 5th and 6th grade, I asked my mom to bring me home a CD by Green Day, because they played "that song from ER." Almost 20 years later, I got to see them play music from that time, and a kid about my age then asked them if he could play J.A.R. with them. Billy put down his guitar and Kid killed it.
