Last month, New Noise Magazine released a new issue whose cover was created by Richie Bucher, the man behind the artwork for Dookie. Included in the issue was a flexi that had a new song called "If There Was Ever a Time" by the band 'Armstrongs'. The band features Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Tim Armstrong (Operation Ivy, Rancid), Joey Armstrong (SWMRS), and Rey Armstrong.

Today, the song was released to the public via Hellcat Records' YouTube page as well as on Apple Music, Spotify, and other streaming services. You can also purchase a 7" of the song via Pirate Press. Armstrongs will donate 100% of the proceeds to 924 Gilman. The song is also featured in the film Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk.

Billie Joe is quoted in GreenDay.com's press release saying:

Anything that has to do with working with Gilman and Tim and Joey Armstrong, consider me in. This is about our home and family. Viva Armstrong!

Tim mentions:

It was exciting to work on this song with Billie and crew for the film. Stoked to share the tune with everyone out there and to be donating all the proceeds to Gilman, which is a place so near, dear, and important to us.

Check out the song below and let us know what you think in the comments.
