Green Day TV is feeding fans from an archive rabbit hole

Green Day TV went live Thursday as a 24/7 stream on the band's YouTube channel, mixing some original content, music videos, live performances, behind-the-scenes footage and other stuff dug out of the archives. The stream has only been running for a few days, but fans are already trying to collect from the treasure trove of limited release content. Rather than trying to catalog everything they're playing, here are some of the more interesting things that have surfaced so far.

Tré's "Transmission Unknown"
"Transmission Unknown" is a weekly show hosted by Tré Cool as Raj Goombar. It's basically Green Day meets late-night public access television, with interviews, performances and plenty of wonderful weirdness. Thankfully GreenDayItaly captured the two below:

An unreleased "American Idiot" video
It's a directors rough cut of the American Idiot music video, complete with unfinished green screen shots and different edits between Billie Joe, Mike and Tré. The video was shared to Green Day's Facebook page:

The Rave in Milwaukee - 1994
One of the better live finds is a pro-shot from The Rave in Milwaukee on July 22, 1994. Fans quickly captured the show and got it back onto YouTube.

Early Green Day footage
The stream has also dug pretty deep into the early years. Fans captured Green Day at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma on January 2, 1991, and have spotted other early shows including Berkeley Square. There's also a complete show recording from Fagersta, Sweden from May 1994. Below is a great quality video from a 1993 show in Miami.

GDTV is currently being promoted on a Billboard in Santa Monica, CA.

One Redditor made a pretty awesome decal of the GDTV logo.

With no real schedule for the stream, fans on GDC have started recording anything unfamiliar. GDA's media mod, Cooper Castille, created a YouTube playlist where he's archiving things that air.
