[pic=Billie performing with The Replacments.]041914_replacements.jpg[/pic]Billie Joe played as an unannounced guest with The Replacements at Coachella last night. Turns out that the lead singer hurt his back, so they recruited Billie to fill in for the night, while The Replacements lead singer sat at the side of the stage watching the show.

Seeing that the show ended only a few hours ago, we don't have many videos of the show yet. You can view the ones we do have below.

Billie Joe has been a massive fan of The Replacements and has even covered their songs live in concert on a few different occasions (Bastard of Young, If Only You're Lonely). We can only imagine what was going through his head when he was asked to do.

I guess you could say Billie was a replacement in The Replacements.
