Green Day's 5th studio album, Nimrod, was released 17 years ago today - October 14, 1997. The album was Green Day's third major label release and saw huge success with the single "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)", which went on sale over 2 million copies on its own. Other singles from the album include "Hitchin' a Ride", "Redundant", and "Nice Guys Finish Last".
