[pic=American Idiot musical tour to end this May]032214_musical.jpg[/pic]Last month a local station in Rochester, NY did an interview with Dan Tracy who currently stars as Tunny in the American Idiot musical. In the interview Tracy mentioned that this May will be the end of the musical on tour.

The current tour production, directed by Michael Mayer, has been on tour since it's run on Broadway ended in 2011 after 422 performances and a Grammy award for Best Musical Show Album.

The musical is getting ready this week to start their performances in Florida with 20 more shows around the USA until May 25th when it will end in Denver, CO. After that, Tracy mentions the show will likely be available to license for smaller theaters or schools to put on their own versions of the production.
