Review from the London screening on Nov. 10

There was a screening yesterday in London that Kerrang gave tickets away for, and one of our team members, Tony (greendaytone on the forum), was able to attend. Here's his recap of the show:
The MTV World Stage cinematic release offers fans a different way to enjoy the Green Day live experience. The heightened visual and audio effects of watching Green Day perform on the big screen take you a step closer to the feeling of actually being at the show. I had an awesome experience seeing this for the first time, including some clapping and "hey ohh" sing-alongs with fellow fans in the audience. Billie Joe's attempts to encourage crowd participation reach through the 'silver screen' to get the audience tapping their feet, air drumming and even on their feet!

Green Day's on stage energy and ability to engage a large crowd are amplified in this setting and the multiple camera angles magnificently capture the event. People attending any of the showings across Europe on the 15th November can look forward to seeing footage of around 15 hit songs from the sold out 21st Century Breakdown Tour show at the Olympia Halle in Munich in 2009. Go see it if you can!
