Chris Dugan, an audio engineer, photographer, and producer (among other things), has worked on every Green Day project since 2002's Shenanigans. He has also done work on their side projects and films, taken tour and promotional photos, and has been a crucial force behind Green Day's creative power in general.

In a new podcast interview with SoundWorks Collection, Dugan discusses his background as an audio student, studio owner, session engineer, producer, videographer, and years of work with many different Bay Area bands. He also gives a lot of great insight into Green Day's creative process, the band's involvment with Jingletown Studios, and the thrill of watching Billie Joe, Mike, and Tré do what they do. Oh, and Chris also recalls some lyrics from a lost and very X-rated Green Day holiday album that may or may not ever see the light of day.

Green Day is mentioned throughout the whole interview, and I definitely recommend listening to it in its entirety. But, to skip directly to Chris talking about the band, try the 34:35 mark.
