As most of you are already aware, the Green Day world is a bit short on news right now. Andres has already gone on a covert operation to the band's secret underground hideout in Albuquerque. As of yet...we have heard nothing back. Instead, we here at Green Day Authority are spending our time working on some projects for the site. And so we wait.

In the mean time, Mitch Clem, a webcomic writer and blogger, has referenced the recent "Pantsgate" scandal in his September 12th release. While not really news, I found it amusing. Moreover, it was a very clever poke at this ridiculous story that has gone semi-viral across the internet.
