Rolling Stone has posted the official trailer for the upcoming American Idiot documentary, Heart Like a Hand Grenade.
The film is showing one night only at many theaters across the U.S., October 8th-22nd. See if there is a theater near you by clicking here.
This movie is like a fly-on-the-wall art house piece. It is the first time Green Day allowed someone into the studio to film them. In addition to the making of the album, the film contains the only known footage of a full-album performance of American Idiot in a small theater, dating from shortly after the recording sessions.
