[img=041412_rockhall.png]As we posted about a few weeks ago, Green Day will be attending the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony tonight in Cleveland, Ohio to induct Guns 'N Roses (well, the portion of the band that decides to show up) into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Cleveland.com will be streaming live video coverage of the event on their website tonight with Red Carpet festivities starting around 5:30pm EST, pre-show coverage around 7:30pm EST, and the ceremony starting around 8:00pm EST.

CoolCleveland.com is also streaming video of the Red Carpet ceremony here.

News Channel 5 in Cleveland is streaming as well. They certainly have the best quality.

Here is a nice photo of Billie Joe and Mike from the other night during pre-ceremony festivities.

Update at 6:10pm EST: According to mrteksun's Twitter page, Green Day are sound-checking at the moment! Looks like they're going to perform!

Updated at 11:15pm EST: Green Day opened tonight's ceremony by, reportedly, playing "Letterbomb." The band is due on stage again here in a few minutes to induct Guns N' Roses.

Update at 12:30am EST: Billie Joe gave a nice speech to induct GNR into the hall (listen here). Mike and Tré joined him on stage but didn't speak. After GNR spoke, they performed. Billie Joe joined a little on vocals.

We are expecting Green Day to make some sort of speech tonight, but it is unclear whether the band will perform like they did when they inducted The Stooges into the Hall in 2010, and The Ramones in 2002.

But there is an interesting video on YouTube from Artisan News Service that claims a rumor of Billie Joe fronting a GNR performance tonight. We are not sure of this but it certainly would be cool!

Thanks to Anipnk on the forum for the heads up
