The guys on the Guitar Center magazine cover
Last week, Green Day were on the cover of Guitar Center's weekly mail newsletter/magazine. The story featured a couple of new photos, and a short interview.

The interview, unlike most we've heard lately, is just basically Billie Joe and Mike talking about the band's roots, Dookie, and how that relates to ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tre!. Along with the insight into Dookie, there's a short section about Billie Joe's new Gibson signature double-cutaway Les Paul Junior. After all, it is in a Guitar Center magazine:

"We wanted to do something a little different, so this one's based on a 1960 model -- the neck is thinner and it's finished in TV yellow. No tricks or anything like that -- just plug it in, turn it up, and start rocking out."

There's also some new trilogy info, regarding the recording process for the albums. If you'd like to check out high-quality scans of the new photos and interview, as well as read old articles, check here.
