[img=111011_mini blue.jpg]Well, what a fantastic result! The "mini-Blue" ornament made by our friend and member Dorie (Tripe on the forum) ended up raising just under $400 for the American Red Cross. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bidding and helping to promote this auction. And congratulations to the new owner of this awesome piece!

Here's a fan-made video from Green Day fans in Italy, who got together to make a picture montage showing their love for the band. You might remember back in July 2010, Green Day had to regrettably cancel their headline performance at the Heineken Festival in Venice due to adverse weather conditions (a cloudburst). I know a lot of Italian fans were left heartbroken, as they were waiting to see their favourite band, some for the first time.

I'm sure Green Day will more than make up for it when they're next in Italy. In the meantime, let's enjoy Italia's Green Day salute, to the song East Jesus Nowhere:
